Migrations, the latest tool from Adam, is looking to ‘end vendor lock-in’ by using AI agents to rebuild a CAD model’s parametric history in a new CAD system.
Adam says that Migrations verifies each step geometrically – each rebuilt step is checked against the source, with verification happening throughout the migration – and transfers the model’s metadata with it, ensuring the CAD model stays editable, with a history that can continue to be worked with.
At the minute Migrations works with Dassault Systèmes Solidworks and Catia, PTC Creo and Onshape, Autodesk Fusion and Inventor, and Siemens NX, with the company offering to review your source and destination systems first with a representative model so that the user ensures all their relevant data is included in the rebuild process.
While CAD Translators exist in many forms, Adam is the first to launch a dedicated AI software to manage what can be a tricky conversion while encompassing PMI data.
“Our AI agents can now migrate your models between CAD tools, feature by feature,” said Adam CEO Zach Dive.
