With an expanded laser configuration, the Artec Point II 3D scanner can capture up to 5.8 million points per second — more than double the original — with three versatile scan modes.
54 laser lines in ultra-fast scanning and 17 parallel lines in hyperfine mode allow each pass to capture more surface data for efficient, detailed digitisation when used with markers.
Users can switch between three modes: ultra-fast scanning for rapid capture across larger surfaces; hyperfine parallel scanning for intricate detail, and a single-laser mode for deep holes and hard-to-reach features.
Certified at 0.02 mm (0.0008 in) accuracy, validated through rigorous ISO testing, the output connects cleanly with Artec Studio metrology software, where data from the Point II can be combined with data captured by other Artec 3D scanners.
Lightweight and ergonomic, the palm-held scanner can be operated singlehandedly and tilted into confined areas. IP50-rated for dust protection and built for a −10 to 40 °C operating range, it has been engineered for use in industrial settings. The model does require to be tethered, with no wireless mode available.
