Flow Engineering has raised a $50M Series B to extend its engineering platform and further bring AI agents into hardware engineering.
Flow provides a system of record where engineering teams and AI agents design hardware together: requirements, design and verification in a connected graph.
The company states that it will use the new funding to build the leading AI harness for hardware engineering, allowing frontier models to work securely with sensitive engineering data on live hardware programs. It will expand its review, branching and evaluation capabilities, along with the controls that increasingly complex programs require.
There are also plans to grow its engineering team across AI and systems engineering, pursue FedRAMP authorisation and other certifications for customers in regulated industries and scale its sales team to meet rising demand.
Flow initially entered the market through requirements management, but connects requirements to CAD, simulation and test, which is what gives its agents the context to do real engineering work: tracing how a single design change – a hole in a rocket injector, for example – cascades across fluid, mechanical, electrical, and software systems and verifying the whole system still meets requirements in seconds instead of weeks.
The round was co-led by Antonio Gracias (Valor) and Gavin Baker (Atreides), with Sequoia participating.
Since its initial £7m Seed funding in 2022, and a Series A in October 2025, Flow has added General Motors PPU, Rivian and Volkswagen’s joint venture (RV Tech), Anduril, Stoke Space, Intuitive Machines and Pacific Fusion as customers. They join existing customers like Rivian, Joby Aviation, Astranis and Radiant Industries, which use Flow as their default hardware development platform.
“We are living in a new golden age of hardware. Rockets that land, cars that drive themselves, robots that run factories,” said Flow Engineering CEO Pari Singh. “The products we create have gotten massively more complex, but the way we develop these products has not kept up.
“Flow is accelerating hardware development cycles from months to days with AI V&V (validation & verification). Flow’s Systems Engineering agents listen to changes in CAD, Git, Simulations, Docs and immediately run impact analysis, flag conflicts and detect requirement failures.
“Hardware development cycles are starting to collapse, from years for major revisions, to minor changes being integrated and verified daily.”
