Fictiv Enterprise has been launched to support the entire New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle for large customers, offering what Fictiv calls a ‘highly customised experience’.
Digital manufacturing company Fictiv states that ‘unlike other on-demand solutions’ that focus on prototyping services or simply provide access to a vast marketplace of suppliers, its Fictiv Enterprise offering looks to extends ‘a robust continuum’ of software tools and services to power all three NPI phases – R&D, product validation, and launch – with embedded security, transparency, and quality standards.
As part of Fictiv Enterprise, the platform is offering features such as expanded security services for intellectual property protection, including SSAE18 SOC2 audited processes and systems.
Unlimited access to Fictiv’s new 2D Drawing Generation and Annotation features in also included, as well as ‘AI-generated design feedback’ and order tracking.
An enhanced quality management system has also been introduced to support enterprise-specific quality requirements, including intake of customer-specific quality requirements; standard operating procedures (SOP); quality documentation with full traceability and transparency.
Given the volumes Fictiv is targeting it’s perhaps no surprise to also see volume-based pricing discounts exclusive to Fictiv Enterprise customers.
“For manufacturing companies to be competitive in the future, they absolutely must embrace a new digital paradigm,” said Fictiv CEO Dave Evans.
“To make our Digital Manufacturing Ecosystem more accessible for large enterprises, we built the most advanced digital and physical security infrastructure in the industry and added customisable services for DfM and supply chain management, so Fictiv becomes a seamless extension of our customers’ supply chains.”
