A new user interface, increased rendering performance and quality are the key features for the 2017 release of Kisters 3DViewStation WebViewer.

The goal of the 2017 release was to ensure that even ultra large assemblies could be rendered fluently on mobile devices as well as PCs using browsers.

Kisters 3DViewStation WebViewer proves that this is possible.” said Jim Eardly, Kisters North America sales manager. “Graphics speed on mobile devices such as Smartphones and Tablet PCs are now as good as on a Desktop PC or even better.”
With is no client installation required, 3DViewStation ships with current and mature importers for a broad range of 3D and 2D formats including Catia, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, and Autodesk Inventor.

Using 3DViewStation’s progressive load and rendering, wait times for loading large assemblies have been reduced, with render performance also meaning for smoother rotation and zoom.

Materials can be applied as well as a Skybox, which influences reflections, as well as a static background image.

New file format support has been added for SolidEdge ST9, Solidworks 2017, NX 11 and HiCAD.
