From the Lunatik Kickstarter campaigns and consulting for Xbox, Dell, and L’Oreal at MINIMAL, to the launch of Microsoft’s HoloLens, Dustin Brown’s career has been enabled by his use of technology in his design process.

Currently with Microsoft and previously with MNML, Brown reflects on a few of his personal and professional projects, discussing how specific design and visualisation workflows have enabled greater success in his work.

An industrial design leader with 17 years of experience in both consulting and corporate environments. Currently with Microsoft and previously with MNML, he has led design efforts on projects for such brands as XBOX, Dell, Lunatik, Intel, Loreal, Rubbermaid, and Paper Mate.

Across categories, he seeks to disrupt markets and enrich lives by creating products of deep utility, breakthrough simplicity, and memorable beauty. Along the way, he has developed a love of visualization as a tool to communicate and inspire new ideas. He is now leading industrial design efforts on a handful of confidential projects at Microsoft.
