A gold watchcase design, 3D printed on the EOS M080, using materials expertise from Cooksongold and Materialise software

A few months ago we threw ourselves into the world of 3D printing with metals, with some of the most stunning results appearing as gold jewellery from the EOS M080 3D printer.

Cooksongold, a supplier of precious metal powders for this process, collaborated with EOS to develop the laser sintering machine, and has now established a partnership with Materialise to help increase its distribution.

The deal will also see the M080 systems run Materialise software, Materialise Magics and Build Processor, to run the 3D printing process and produce near net-shape parts.
