Inventables X-Carve Pro has been launched as the company’s next generation CNC machine designed for large projects and scaling-up production.

The Inventables X-Carve Pro is billed as a ‘professional-grade solution’ that will enable small businesses to take larger CNC projects in-house, boosting manufacturing capabilities, iteration control and potentially reducing overheads.

Available for pre-order now and shipping in April 2021, The X-Carve Pro has been designed for multiple audiences – from makers wanting to scale their craft projects, up to SMEs looking to bring CNC solutions with repeatability, speed, and accuracy in-house, but which have a limited floorspace.

Inventables say that the X-Carve Pro assembles in less than two hours, running off a 110v outlet.

Two models are available – a 4’x4’ and 4’x2’ carveable area  -with the ability to carve full 4’x8’ Sheets by section using Inventable’s Easel Pro software and its new Tiling feature.

The rigid gantry has 25mm ball screws and linear guides for fast, more accurate carving, while an integrated, 1.5KW, air-cooled spindle with pre-programmed VFD does the cutting.

A neat dust collection system can be hooked on for deeper carving, which is compatible with most shop vacuums.

The new CNC machine includes three years of Easel Pro web-based CNC design software, which also provides an integrated library of two million graphics, and the ability to import G-Code, PNG, and DXF files from any software that exports it.

Inventables CEO Zach Kaplan, said: “X-Carve Pro has been in the making for over three years, and has been created with the feedback of thousands of X-Carve & Easel customers.

“The result is a solution that provides the full package: sophisticated hardware, intuitive software, and unparalleled customer support.

“X-Carve Pro let’s people build things so much faster, up to 25 times faster. For businesses that use it, this means they can handle more projects per day and make more money. It can now carve really big objects, handling a full 4×8 foot sheet, and it’s easy for a non-technical person to use.”

Inventables says the latest models will continue to receive same-day phone and email support from the US, as well as hosting a highly-engaged and active forum.

Special pricing for pre-orders is available, with a starting price of $5,495.00 for the 4’x2’ model – a huge 45 per cent saving on standard pricing.
