Encouraging the next generation into the world of design and engineering is of the upmost importance as far as we’re concerned, which is why we’re happy to see the launch of the rejigged Gocracker website.
Aimed at 12-18 year olds to encourage them into STEM subjects and to discover the world of science, engineering and technology, including the right courses to pick at university or pathways through apprenticeships. From here there are areas for them to learn about the different career pathways and to find out about employers in the big bad world.
A number of big engineering firms are sponsoring the website, including National Instruments, HMGCC, Rolls-Royce and Cummins, and it even includes some resources for teachers.
