The OnVidus layout automatically adjusts according to the size of the device

Kisters has announced that its latest 3DViewStation product family member, OnVidus, will allow users web-based access to their assemblies and documents from anywhere.

Access is provided not only inside the corporate network, but also from outside while travelling, using any mobile device including smartphones, which gives all users access to their 3D and 2D CAD data, Microsoft Office and other documents.

As the software, like WebViewer, is a HTML5 application, the layout automatically adjusts according to the size of the device, with no client installation is required, and by not transferring any assembly or document directly to the device it claims high speeds even at low bandwidths and intellectual property protection.
Kisters suggests that making data available in OnVidus is similar to working on your local file system: First, folders can be created. Then files will be uploaded and automatically translated into the fast and compact 3DViewStation file format, preview images are generated and metadata can be assigned.

In case of an existing internal system the content might be synchronised automatically, without any user interaction.
