Hot on the heels of launching its new award winning modern luxury yachts, Fairline Yachts has announced a new production facility to capitalise on the successes of the company’s latest designs.
The 63 GTO, crowned winner at 2017 World Yachts Trophies, as well an all-new Targa 43 Open due next spring have both raised the brand’s notoriety, as well as further concept designs for the ‘F-Line’ day boat.
As a result, a new manufacturing site is planned for yachts over 70ft with the first boats beginning production on the site in late summer 2018, creating 200 jobs.
The Targa 63 GTO features the combination of Italian design studio Alberto Mancini’s styling, naval architecture by Dutch firm Vripack, and hand-crafted skills of Fairline’s British team.
The new F-Line range is inspired by the company’s long heritage in designing and building sub-40ft yachts, embracing outdoor living with an expansive foredeck sunbathing area, open plan forward cabin and innovative fold down transom. Wrap around windows offer a light and airy feel and hand-crafted details add luxury.
“The design clearly draws on Fairline’s core design DNA but with a very modern twist and, of course, offers the robust seakeeping we are known the world over for,” says Fairline Yachts head of design Andrew Pope.
