Evatronix has signed Concurrent Design Group (CDG) to offer UK sales, support and training for its range of 3D Scanners, including its Heavy Duty Quadro 3D scanner.

Built for data capture of medium to large objects even in harsh conditions (the casing holds a dustproof IP62 rating), the Quadro uses four 5MP cameras and RGB LEDs to provide two scanning ranges in one unit, with a claimed accuracy of 0.013mm.

The ability to scan in two ranges, narrow and wide, makes the Quadro a versatile device for objects of different sizes and levels of complexity.
CDG will also stock and service Evatronix’s next version down Optima model, which offers two 5MP cameras and Blue Light scanning, and the company’s Evixmatic hands free automated four-axis 3D scanning system.

Based in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, Evatronix has an interesting background, reinventing itself from a CAD reseller in 1991 to develop its own 3D scanning hardware, which runs using 3D Systems’ Geomagic suite or its own eviXscan 3D Suite 2.0 that has been developed in house.
