Synera adds Fusion and nTop connectivity for automated workflows

Synera continues to build its connectivity with newly announced nTop and Autodesk Fusion add-ins, allowing users to develop parts faster, automated by AI agents in Synera.

Synera add-ins allow communication between the Synera AI Agent Platform for Engineering and leading tools for design (CAD), simulation (CAE), manufacturing (CAM), and product lifecycle management (PLM), as well as collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.

By leveraging these connectors, users can ensure critical data flows smoothly across their engineering ecosystem, enhancing automation, knowledge democratisation, collaboration, traceability and operational efficiency.

The new nTop add-in should allow users to create high-performing designs, run parameter updates and analyse without meshing delays, with everything automated in Synera’s AI-ready platform.

Synera head of product Andrew Sartorelli, explains: “The nTop Add-In is a major step forward in our vision of end-to-end design automation for different verticals, including additive manufacturing.

“Engineers can now rapidly iterate on complex part designs, that are simply not designable with another design packaging, while maintaining the replay-able connection between the other tools in their digital thread – all within a single automated workflow.”

By orchestrating nTop alongside existing simulation tools, Synera says this workflow will enable ‘lights-out design exploration’ at a scale impossible with manual workflows, letting users evaluate complete design spaces rather than rely on intuition and limited sampling.

The Autodesk Fusion Add-In handles Autodesk Platform Services API connections, reducing IT overhead while allowing users to share designs in the cloud and automate design and simulation iterations, cost analysis and request for quotations (RFQ) preparation.

The Fusion Add-In also makes it simple to add Synera’s automation: Instead of waiting for overnight simulation results or manually updating dozens of design files, engineers can start their mornings with ready-to-review design variants — freeing hours each day for creative problem-solving instead of administrative grind.

Both Add-Ins are available now.
