Neural Concept integrates Simcenter STAR-CCM+ for ‘massive scale’ CFD

19 0

Neural Concept has integrated Siemens’ Simcenter STAR-CCM+ within its 3D deep learning platform to allow CFD simulations at ‘massive scale’ on dedicated high-performance computing (HPC) resources in the cloud.

Both Simcenter STAR-CCM+ and NX have been interfaced for use, allowing users to access the software from within its platform for an optimised user experience and a scalable compute environment that multiplies the impact of CAE.

By using the simulation software within the platform, Neural Concept says that users can execute Simcenter CFD simulations with HPC power, representing a significant advancement for machine learning (ML)-enhanced pipelines, extending and accelerating processing, generative, and predictive ML tasks.

“Siemens Digital Industries Software is excited to be collaborating to enhance the end-user experience, and we are looking forward to work with Neural Concept to provide solutions that can help to improve and accelerate the productivity of our mutual customers,” said Simona Ottaiano, senior product manager AI/ML, simulation and test solutions, Siemens Digital Industries Software.

Neural Concept CEO Pierre Baqué, added, “OEMs today are under pressure to deliver innovative and sustainable products at unprecedented speed. To meet these challenges, engineers need a streamlined and efficient process for their design workflows, and the ability to model highly complex Multiphysics real-world conditions using computational fluid dynamics.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Siemens Digital Industries Software and interface their industry leading CFD software Simcenter STAR-CCM+ and NX into Neural Concept, empowering engineering teams to create impact through engineering data-science – for end-to-end Engineering Intelligence application development, fully connected to the internal simulation and design ecosystem, deployable at scale.”
