Teradici is offering a free 30-day free trial of its PCoIP Workstation Access Software that can be installed on any Windows workstation with Quadro K2000 graphics and higher.
The software allows users to connect remotely to their 3D CAD applications over LAN or the Internet – providing there is a low latency, high bandwidth connection.
Unlike mainstream remote technologies, Teradici’s PCoIP Workstation Access Software is designed specifically for 3D applications. Teradici says the software delivers outstanding image quality and high performance 3D. Dynamic quality adjustment and monitoring helps to maximize frame rate.
Teradici says set up takes under 5 mins – users install the remoting software on the host workstation (Windows 7 or Windows 8.1) and the client software on the local PC (Windows XP / 7 / 8.1 or Mac OSX). A PCoIP zero client can also be used.
The free 30-day trial is available in North America, UK, Northern Europe, New Zealand and Australia. The software costs around US $240.
