Graphics virtualisation specialist IMSCAD has teamed up with global IT services provider PhoenixNAP to help simplify cloud desktop deployments for AEC and manufacturing firms.
The partnership intends to enable customers to run their desktops for a predictable cost and still maximize productivity and flexibility using a global cloud platform.
IMSCAD says that the new global Graphical DaaS (Desktop as a Service) platform means Enterprise IT can avoid challenges associated with migrating to graphics virtualisation and realise the benefits of an efficient and agile infrastructure that is easier to manage.
From an end user perspective, IMSCAD adds the service allows demanding professionals to benefit from flexible work styles and improved global collaboration through ‘anywhere, anytime’ access to performance desktops with or without GPUs.
“We are delighted to partner with PhoenixNAP to expand our global footprint for graphical desktops in the cloud. We deliver an essential service wrap that makes deploying Windows 10 or any graphical application and desktop a simple procedure,” said Charlie Dawson, Director at IMSCAD Global and The IMS Cloud.
IMSCAD will host and support customers that want to test drive the technology with a free ‘48 hour’ trial.
