Europac3D will provide access to DSM materials like Somos Taurus (top) and Somos PerFORM (bottom)
Europac3D has signed a deal to become the latest DSM channel partner in the UK, offering the full range of some 20 SLA 3D printing materials.
The materials are each designed to suit any application, from wind tunnel models to certified medical solutions, with their open-source nature meaning they can be used in most SLA machines.
Headquartered in Crewe, Cheshire, Europac3D has more than 20 years of experience in the field of 3D scanning, printing and installation, serving a range of sectors and more than 500 businesses across the UK.
Europac3D will stock Somos Taurus, the first SLA material to be both durable and have the ability to withstand elevated temperatures; Somos PerFORM, used for applications requiring strong, stiff, high temperature resistant composite parts, as well as the rest of the SLA range.
During the announcement DSM sales director Martine Van der Ent implied that DSM’s ultimate goal is to unlock the full potential of additive manufacturing.
