Kimya ABS Carbon, ABS ESD, ABS Kevlar, PETG – S, TPC-91A 3D Printing filaments are now available to purchase in the UK via reseller 3DGBIRE.

The French company, part of Armor Group’s portfolio, has developed the new filaments with the approval of 3D printing companies Ultimaker and Raise3D.

The Nantes-based corporation is turning towards performance 3D materials having already specialised in inks and coatings for applications such as organic solar films and coated collectors for electric batteries.

“It is a great satisfaction for Armor to entrust 3DGBIRE with the distribution of our Kimya products,” said Kimya director Pierre-Antoine Pluvinage.

“This partnership will allow us to respond effectively to the needs of industrialists by providing them with customised and high added value materials.”

In addition to a wide range of ABS-S and PETG filaments, the range has some interesting professional options, including PEKK Carbon, ABS Kevlar, and ABS-ESD offering protection against electrostatic discharge.

A TPC-91A material rounds-off the range with elastic properties.
