Authentise has announced that its Flows software, which enables teams to plan, manage, execute and track industrial product development and manufacturing operations, is now integrated with with Autodesk Fusion Industry Cloud.

Users will be able to check the design quality, generate support structures, slice, nest, create a machine-specific build file more directly from the Flows interface, and operate directly on live Fusion Data.

The integration will allow users to prepare designs for manufacturing, across multiple workflows, all without the interruption of changing software, or added complications.

Authentise says the the newly announced capabilities mean that users can go far beyond simple data exchange by picking and choosing which specific functions they want to outsource to Fusion and access those directly from the Authentise Flows.

“This is a milestone in the evolution of manufacturing and engineering workflows,” said Authentise CEO Andre Wegner. “Never before have so many individual manufacturing services been accessible in one place. By seamlessly integrating these functions, we’re not only enhancing efficiency and convenience, but we’re also laying the groundwork for a more open, competitive ecosystem.”

Alexander Oster, director of additive manufacturing at Autodesk, added: “We are proud to work with Authentise as one of the early adopters of our Fusion API capabilities.

“With this integration, a tailored and managed end-to-end additive manufacturing workflow is finally a reality. From quoting a design, assigning workflows and work instructions, generating supports and adjusting the design, to nesting, scheduling, and execution, Authentise users can now guide their parts from design to part in one smooth process.”
