It’s almost time for DEVELOP3D LIVE 2017, and this year we have another action-packed, one-day conference and exhibition. We have a fantastic line-up of 40 designers, engineers and software/hardware developers, presenting future technologies under one roof.

We have grouped conference sessions into specific themes and due to the fact that some sessions will run simultaneously, we recommend you bring your colleagues to make the most of the day.

Dedicated sessions on 3D Printing, concentrating on new materials, Product Design/ Engineering, Start-up and a whole track of Design Visualisation, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.

Leading designers talk about their innovative approaches to product design and engineering including Alister Whelan, creative director at Jaguar, and Dustin Brown, senior industrial designer at Microsoft and many more. For a full line-up of speakers and conference sessions click here

The future of CAD includes presentations from the heads of all the major CAD software developers: Autodesk, SolidWorks, PTC, Siemens PLM, onshape and SolidThinking.

WMG (Warwick Manufacturing Group) tours — This year we will once again be running free tours of the WMG manufacturing and design facilities throughout the day. Spaces are limited so sign up at reception on arrival.

Virtual Reality design experience This year we have an expanded VR experience in the Mead Gallery, with many opportunities to try immersive VR for yourself.

Dell and Siemens PLM have teamed up to produce a unique VR and SolidEdge design experience. Delegates will be able to model a component in SolidEdge and immediately bring this through into a VR experience on Dell Precision Workstations. This will take place every hour from 10.30am in the Studio.

Learn about cutting edge 3D printing technology

Now that the hype is over, the 3D Printing market can concentrate on delivering useable machines that produce production-ready parts.

This year we have focussed on innovation in materials, carbon fibre and metals, together with topology and print strategies based on analysis and topology. We have Markforged, Renishaw, nTopology, Intrinsys and Stratasys, which have major new announcements.

A truly epic design visualisation track that goes virtual

This year we have an all day session dedicated to design visualisation and have crammed in an insane number of fantastic speakers.

We cover hardware with AMD and HP, HTC and Microsoft talk VR and AR goggles, with Chaos Group (VRay), Lightworks (I-Ray) and The Foundry (Modo/CaraVR). We even have Andre Matos from Porsche flying in from Germany.
