Find out what went into designing this little fella
A unique travelling Star Wars exhibition has rolled into London, promising to bring a galaxy, far far away, a bit closer to home – with some nice design hints and tips throughout.
Written as a person with no actual interest in the franchise, theres still a lot going on to keep the interest – with hundreds of props, costumes and models.
It’s a great lesson in movie prop design (X-wing pilot helmet visors are orange to hide just how sweaty the actors got on set) and even biomimicry (the giant AT-AT walkers were based on the moment of elephants).
