The CAM aspect of Autodesk’s cloud-based Fusion 360 is one of the most intriguing, including both 2D and 3D machining with a pretty extensive set of operations from the HSMWorks stable, which Autodesk acquired a few years ago.
It’s one thing jumping from creating cool things in a CAD package to setting them up for machining, especially if you’re new to this lark – which given the comparatively low cost entry point for Fusion 360, there’s a good chance you’re a newbie.
