Simulation Survey 2011 – who’s using what, where and how + win an iPad 2

As regular readers of DEVELOP3D will know, we’ve been going through a series of questionnaires and surveys in the last few months.

At the beginning of the year, we gave away an iPad for your thoughts on reverse engineering and inspection; this month it’s the turn of simulation and analysis.

Does the idea of having a digital representation of your product give you cause for excitement or intrepidation? Are you using simulation actively in your organisation or is it not even flagging up on your radar yet? Are some of the vendor’s claims about simulation adoption true or are we seeing increasing sales, but no adoption? We’d love to know.

As a mark of our gratitude, we’ll be picking an entrant from the complete survey responses and sending them one of Apple’s shiny new iPad 2s and we’ll probably throw in a gift card for a year’s subscription to the DEVELOP3D iPad app. Last month’s winner, Tom Suddaby, designer at Chunc Wheelchairs said “As a designer I am always inspired by new technologies. The iPad is a modern day design classic and will assist greatly in the productivity and development of my current and future designs“.

If you fancy helping guide the magazine over the coming years and want to be in with a chance of winning today’s hottest new tech piece, then the link for the survey is here.
