VRgineers and R3DT, have joined to announce their hardware and software package for industrial engineers that need to plan for and review their production processes.

A developer and manufacturer of enterprise-grade VR solutions, VRgineers is known mostly for its XTAL VR system in the automotive and aerospace industries, with its peripheral vision-filling 170-degree field-of-view and integrated Leap Motion haptics.

Partnering this with R3DT’s VR software for virtual prototyping, and the pair are confident that this will bring massive time and cost savings to users as they abandon physical prototypes, and instead design, test and make changes fast and effectively in VR.
“Seamless control of the virtual environment and interaction with objects is enabled through the integration of Leap Motion, which recently joined forces with Ultrahaptics,” said Marek Polčák, co-founder and CEO of VRgineers.

“Hand tracking is essential to the future of VR. VRgineers is pushing the envelope of what’s possible in VR image quality and fidelity. Embedding the Leap Motion controller and software adds a new dimension of immersion and realism to the overall experience.”
