The Kewi Bra brings in some much needed engineering to the larger sizes of women’s bras

Forgive this article for treading carefully, as we attempt avoid undoing all our fine work promoting Women in Engineering with one misinterpreted remark, but: a new bra has been designed.

The Kewi Bra is especially designed for cup sizes larger than a D, all the way up to a P – which, should you be unaware, are big – to help thousands of larger-breasted women across the globe to feel more comfortable and supported in the precision-engineered garment.

“The Kewi Bra we have now is the result of five long years of research, analysis, engineering and prototype testing, and we’re confident that our latest enhancements to the design have created the world’s most comfortable bra,” said CEO and founder Muyiwa Olumide.

The manufacturing process has been honed and enhanced using CNC machining to create parts of the bra, including its internal lifting device, which takes pressure off the shoulders and the back.

Engineered using 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium, the Kewi Bra is now fully-equipped to ensure that women with breasts from sizes D-cup to P-cup will find total comfort and support in the revolutionary Float-Tech Bra.

From the images, it does have the appearance of something Batman would fill with kevlar and wear as body armour, yet it’s the functionality in which the bra excels: the product allows women to no longer worry about support, and allows them to wear clothes that they might previously have shunned, while taking pressure off their shoulders and back.

You could say that they are ‘women in engineering’… Sorry.
