If you’ve a clear idea of a physical product-based business, but need some assistance and support to build it into a money-making machine, then the Central Research Laboratory (CRL) Incubator might be for you.

The application process has just opened – you can apply with your idea here – and competition would look to be fierce following a successful first year of teams.

Most recently, the US has seen the growth of hardware incubators, focused on making physical products, rather than software and apps, and with the CRL the UK is following suit.

It’s a much tougher business, given that physical products require more capital to be risked in the search for success, but the team at the CRL’s base in Hayes is more than capable of getting your product from first prototype stage through to full production, with investment along the way.
