Giving students a broad scope of mechanics and fluids simulations, Ansys has launched its first free introductory student package.
From fundamental tutorial level models to complex real-world scale models, Ansys Student offers to aid the learning of simulation fundamentals while gaining exposure to the Ansys Workbench simulation workflow, pre-processing, post-processing and solver products.
Available on a renewable six-month product license, the software is limited only by the size of the problems that can be solved, giving access to versions of Ansys Mechanical, Ansys CFD, Ansys Autodyn, Ansys Workbench, Ansys DesignModeler and Ansys DesignXplorer.
In addition to the software, Ansys is providing self-guided technical support, installation videos and introductory tutorials, all available for use through the Ansys website.
The product can be installed on any supported MS Windows 64-bit machine.
“We’re proud to equip next-generation engineers with Ansys’ leading software technology, both inside and outside of the classroom,” said Ansys marketing VP Mark Hindsbo.
“Investing in STEM education is critical for the global economy and we at Ansys are passionate about doing what we can to enable the students of today to be the best possible engineers of tomorrow.”
