JOA Designs offer free intro to design automation with DriveWorks

JOA Designs is running a free DriveWorks sample to help manufacturing companies considering automating their product design in Solidworks, but who aren’t sure if it’s suitable for them.

The Newcastle, UK-based product design consultancy is offering the service to work with the client on an initial product. By equipping the JOA Designs team with a short list of dimensions, features and configurations in the Solidworks product CAD model that would improve manufacturing requests by being automated,  the team will then create a free sample based on requirements using DriveWorks Xpress.

The goal is to help companies who redesign products regularly based on size, feature or configuration changes to find the advantages of design automation to avoid costly and repetitive tasks.

JOA Designs gives the example of a client’s redesign process that previously took a day to complete, that when automated allowed the changes to be made in 15 minutes using DriveWorks. The company has previously worked with companies within the HVAC, furniture and street furniture sectors to help them add swifter practises to their manufacturing.

“Our team of mechanical engineers and DriveWorks specialists have a combined experience of over four decades working within the engineering and design automation sector. Our specialists can use all levels of DriveWorks, from Xpress to Solo and Pro, as well as can integrate your finished automation online for your internal team and external customers to use,” said JOA Designs director John Ajibade.

“The message is ‘Don’t let the financial concerns of automation hold you back!’. Our goal is to help businesses experience the power of design automation without the cost.”
