iAM Marketplace has launched as a new hardware agnostic sales platform for polymer 3D printing materials and post-processing consumables.
Backed by Stratasys and built upon its acquisitions from iSquared, BASF’s Forward AM, and assets from Nexa3D, it promises customers access to a vast array of certified materials and services that meet diverse use case needs, all on a single platform.
At launch this includes materials from Addigy, ALM, AMM, Forward AM, Henkel Loctite, iSquared, Keystone, Saremco, Somos, and a limited number of Stratasys products.
iAM Marketplace says that its platform will streamline purchasing and support more agile and robust supply chains for manufacturers around the world.
“The launch of iAM Marketplace is a bold step forward in our materials strategy, expanding our total addressable market and creating operational efficiencies by positioning us to serve the entire additive manufacturing industry,” said Stratasys CEO Yoav Zeif.
“It provides all manufacturers with a broad portfolio of quality certified materials, machines and expertise which makes it easy to access exactly what they need from a reliable partner, whether they’re focused on cost, performance, or use case-specific solutions.”
The website also includes a certified pre-owned marketplace, featuring a range of Nexa3D and Stratasys models – although all 3D printers are quote only and feature no visible pricing.
Alongside this is the ability to connect with the iAM Lab – essentially a contact point for iSquared. This can allow for custom materials development, part testing and scaling for large volume production from its facilities in Germany and Switzerland.
