Chaos has announced that its Cosmos library is expanding by 400%, adding geo-focussed assets and a new AI material generator.

By adding nearly 30,000 high-quality 3D assets, Chaos says it is an ongoing investment aimed at digitally supercharging user workflows and evolving the platform on multiple fronts.

The latest Cosmos expansion diversify’s it with a focus on Asia, while future expansions will bring greater variety to the collection, including vegetation, vehicles, and furniture, giving projects a more realistic, polished and design-forward look.

The new Cosmos assets aim to be easy and ready to use in high-quality renders while also available in low-poly formats for real-time use, ensuring all Chaos customers can benefit.

Earlier this year, Chaos added Chaos Scans and its scanned materials to the Cosmos library. It is now taking materials a step further with the introduction of AI Material Generator, an AI-driven tool that allows users to create their own 3D materials from real-world photos.

This innovation, combined with the expanded asset library, provides a solution where users can easily find assets and generate customised materials tailored to their project’s needs, all in one place.

“With a 400% expansion and powerful smart features like animated assets and AI-assisted material creation, Cosmos is not just growing — it’s evolving.” said Chaos CEO Stephan Sieber.
