Altair has announced integration of the Altair One cloud innovation gateway with Nvidia Omniverse Blueprint, which will improve simulation design and Real Time Digital Twins.
The integration provides customers with GPU acceleration, Nvidia NIM microservices, and Nvidia Omniverse technology.
They will also have access to Altair’s simulation, artificial intelligence, data analytics and HPC (high performance computing) solutions.
Leveraging Nvidia Omniverse Blueprint in Altair One means that users can collaborate in a shared virtual environment, combining 3D design and AI for rendering and streaming capabilities on the cloud.
Altair One users will have turnkey access to the Omniverse Blueprint, and will be able to expand datasets through multiple design iterations due to Altair One’s catalogue of essential metadata.
This supports the development of models in tools including Altair PhysicsAI, which reduces analysis time from days or hours to minutes or seconds using artificial intelligence.
The integration will improve collaboration in areas such as crash and drop test simulations.
“Integrating the Omniverse Blueprint for Real Time Digital Twins with Altair One gives users a powerful new way to operationalise and innovate with digital twins, data, and AI in real time,” said chief technology officer at Altair Sam Mahalingam.
“It is yet another example of how Altair is continuing to lead in all things digital engineering and digital twin.”
Altair is also improving other solutions using Nvidia technology, including adding the cuDSS GPU-accelerated Direct Sparse Solver library to Altair OptiStruct.
Altair ultraFluidX, Altair nanoFluidX and EDEM are also now available through Nvidia Blackwell, improving performance by up to 1.6 times.
