Now celebrating its 28th year, New Designers provides a platform for graduating students from over 190 of the UK’s leading design courses to exhibit their final year projects.

It’s an event that attracts a great deal of attention for those who wish to see iconic designs of the future before they hit the high street, buy original design, commission work, or meet and recruit the design world’s rising stars.

Taking place over two weeks, New Designers is divided into two parts and covers eight distinct design zones:

Part 1, running from 26 to 29 June, with an Awards Preview on 26 June, brings together graduates from the top design courses in contemporary applied art and ceramics and glass, alongside fashion, textiles and accessories and jewellery and precious metalwork.

Part 2, running from 3 to 6 July, with an Awards Preview on 3 July, focuses on furniture and product design, visual communications and spatial design – and for the first time, Prime Cuts, a new feature to the event that brings together specialist motion arts disciplines, including film, video and costume design.

As well as graduate students flaunting their wares, there is also One Year On. This curated area showcases a selected group of around 50 emerging designers over both weeks who are in their first year of business.

The designers are selected for their entrepreneurial flair and the exceptional quality of their work.

DEVELOP3D will be exhibiting on stand M12 during Part 2 of New Designers. Come over and say hi.
