The WS-M1550 features a 15.6-inch screen and a full width backlit keyboard
Workstation Specialists (WS) has taken the lead on the likes of Dell, HP and Lenovo by releasing two new Ivy Bridge-based mobile graphics workstations, the WS-M1550 & WS-M1750.
The full range of energy efficient 3rd Generation Intel Core i7 ‘Ivy Bridge’ quad-core processors are available including the Extreme i7 up to 3.9GHz (with Turbo Boost).
Other features include a maximum of 32GB of DDR3 Memory, and either the NVIDIA Quadro 3000M (2GB), Quadro 4000M (2GB) or Quadro 5010M (4GB) Pro 3D Graphics.
Both the WS-M1550 (15-inch) and WS-M1750.(17-inch) machines include an LED backlit display (Gloss/Matte options available) and feature a lightweight chassis with 8 cell Li-Ion battery, backlit keyboard (full width + numeric key pad), wireless, bluetooth, 3G (optional), finger print scanner, USB 3.0, Firewire, 2.0mp digital camera, kensington lock, high definition audio (with sub-woofer) and more.
Prices start at £1,695.
