The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) has announced its lineup of keynote speakers for its 2019 conference, with NASCAR driver and founder of Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing (KAM), Brad Keselowski, taking the pole slot.

Taking place in Chicago, USA, on 31 March – 4 April, Keselowski will talk about how as a pro driver across two racing series he has learned the important role manufacturing plays across multiple industries, including motorsports and automotive.

He will be joined by fellow keynote, BAFTA award wining and Oscar nominated animation studio Laika, as its director of rapid prototyping Brian McLean treats attendees to a visual journey that shows how 3D printing has helped redefine stop-motion animation.
Todd Grimm returns for his annual slot to round off the keynote speakers giving insights, observations, and guidance around his summary of recent developments in AM and sets the tone for a week of user-to-user interactions.

Brad Keselowski will be the keynote speaker on Tuesday 2 April, with a presentation titled ‘Winning the Manufacturing Race’. He is a full-time driver in the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series, which has given him the insight into how important a role manufacturing plays across multiple industries, including motorsports and automotive.

That understanding, coupled with his passion for technological innovations, led him to build KAM. In his keynote, he will share his experiences where technology, like AM, can help companies win the race and its impact not only within automotive, but across multiple sectors.

DEVELOP3D will be attending this year’s event in its role as a Gold Sponsor.
