At $1,790 with a 12 month warranty, the ZMorph is likely to turn some heads

ZMorph’s latest release is the hybrid CNC Set, built to meet the needs of prototypers needing to cut, engrave and mill materials, while offering a variety of other tool heads that can transform the machine into a dual-extruder 3D printer or laser engraver.

With a working area of 250 x 235 x 85 mm on a solid plywood table base, the design is said to offer security during CNC milling while making it ’30 per cent less expensive’ than similar desktop machines.

The Set includes the latest model of ZMorph 2.0 S Hybrid 3D Printer mounted with a CNC PRO Milling toolhead, while 8 specialist toolheads are available from the online store, varying from a single filament extruder, to a thick paste extruder, to an experimental 5-axis toolhead.

There are 8 toolhead choices for the machine, although this milling tool is included in the box price

Poland-based ZMorph state that the machine is available worldwide and ready to work out of the box. Most impressive for a machine of this scale is that it comes with a 12-month manufacturers warranty, which should help those wanting to use it as a workhorse.

The new ZMorph CNC Set is available for €1,590 / $1,790 either via ZMorph’s online store or through its chain of official resellers.
