Italian manufacturer of stereolithography 3D printers and materials, DWS, has long been on our radar but just out of reach – this is about to change with its announcement of a new UK distributer.
Europac3D will now be DWS’ exclusive UK distributor, giving a wider range of customers the chance to try out its range of SLA 3D printers, created with many years of experience in the jewellery industry, but perfect for a wide range of purposes.
The new S PRO X is DWS’ premium 3D printer for professional bureaus and production environments, with a unique four laser system, which enables large industrial parts to be manufactured and with a wide choice of materials.
In-house materials production includes ‘ABS Like’ plastic, polypropylene, elastomers and high-temperature-resistant nano-ceramics. The applications with such a large range of materials include high temperature moulds, direct casting, clear parts and the Irix range even mimics naturally occurring stones, ideal for the jewellery industry.
Daniella Lavezzi, business development and key account manager of DWS, said: “Our mission at DWS is to develop professional 3D printers and materials that produce objects of unrivalled quality and performance, enabling businesses to embrace digitalisation and become increasingly innovative and competitive.
“We are excited to be working in partnership with Europac 3D in order to provide our mutual customers in the UK with an unparalleled customer experience.”
Europac 3D, based in Cheshire, offers a full spectrum of services from 3D scanning through to additive manufacturing, and recently announced its partnership with DSM, that will enable a range of around 20 SLA open use materials.
