Big Hero 6 will see a young robotics prodigy take on a criminal gang
Since continuously repeated viewings of Frozen have been described to me as ‘uniform torture’ by several parents recently, I come bearing good news: Big Hero 6 is coming.
I doubt that you’ve ever heard of such a thing (unless you’re a total Marvel Comics geek), but Disney is working up a storm with its latest animated feature that will follow a young robotics prodigy named Hiro Hamada and his self-built robot pal Baymax.
The Disney fairytale magic has been given the heave-ho and instead there is a world of workshops, intuitive 3D CAD tools, industrial scale 3D printers, and big bloopy white robots.

An intuitive 3D CAD format running off a laptop – is Disney predicting a future working from the cloud?

Baymax, probably set to be up there with Wall-E as a tech geek’s favourite Disney characters
Set in a fictional metropolis called San Fransokyo (a blend of San Francisco and Tokyo), the tale’s protagonists uncover a criminal plot and pull together a team of inexperienced crime-fighters to solve it.
It’s due for release in cinemas this November – We can’t wait to see it!
