Infinitive, a new configuration platform, is looking to revolutionise how companies design, sell and produce modular or build-to-order products with an advanced browser-based 3D configurator.
Customers are able to build personalised and unique configurations of products directly in their browser, creating a solution that goes beyond surface-level customisation, providing customers and sales teams with a fully interactive experience that reflects the complexity of modular and engineered products.
Infinitive explains that its real-time sync capabilities and full integration with all major CAD systems allows for products that are always up-to-date, and for businesses that want to go even further, Infinitive’s end-to-end solution integrates with ERP, CRM, and manufacturing systems, ensuring connectivity across all business functions.
Infinitive says it is already working with forward-thinking companies across industries like furniture and modular construction who are eager to provide their customers with a more interactive, dynamic buying experience. The platform offers a new level of control and customisation, making it easier for manufacturers to address the growing demand for personalisation in product offerings.
Infinitive CPO Xenia Pie, said: “We’ve worked closely with our partners to validate and refine the ideal workflows for true product configuration. By understanding their unique needs and challenges, we’ve tailored our platform to not only streamline the configuration process but to enhance the overall customer and sales experience.”
Infinitive says that its configurator is a powerful tool for sales teams too, simplifying the configuration process to quickly generate accurate quotes for complex products right alongside customers, speeding up decision-making and improving the overall buying experience.
“Infinitive empowers manufacturers to bring innovation and efficiency to the forefront of their business,” commented Infinitive CEO Peter Harman. “We’re not just offering another 3D tool, Infinitive is the missing link for businesses aiming to optimise their workflows from design through to sales and production.”
The business has also been awarded two grants that it says will accelerate its mission to help customers innovate. The SmarterYield project with the Smart Manufacturing Data Hub will help further develop Infinitive’s capabilities, leveraging data to drive efficiency and smarter manufacturing workflows for the furniture industry.
Additionally, a BridgeAI grant, part of the UK government’s initiative to foster AI-driven advancements, will support efforts to integrate cutting-edge Generative Modular Design technology into the platform, allowing companies and their customers to benefit from intelligent, data-driven configuration processes.
