Artec 3D has partnered with InnovMetric to integrate PolyWorks Inspector and offer a broader toolset for Artec 3D scanner users.
Luxembourg-based Artec 3D develops and produces 3D handheld and portable scanners while InnovMetric is an independent metrology software development company. This collaboration endeavours to allow users to carry out complete dimensional analyses by comparing scans to CAD models to identify deviations.
The software platform can diagnose and help resolve manufacturing issues, whether that’s uncovering design flaws, monitoring wear, or ensuring products meet stringent standards. The software will then provide a detailed report to make it easy to translate inspection results into actionable insights, for faster and informed decision-making.

Powered by PtB-certified algorithms, PolyWorks Inspector streamlines the extraction of actionable insights from captured 3D data. Its GD&T tools are built according to the latest ISO and ASME standards aiming to enable fast, precise measurement, analysis and tolerance verification.

With the partnership Artec are looking to complement the analytical capabilities already built into Artec Studio, enabling users of Artec 3D’s portable scanners to achieve greater efficiency in quality control.
