With many 3D designers now almost permanently grafted to their 3D control devices, Onshape has thankfully announced its new partnership with 3Dconnexion, creator of the CadMouse and Spacemouse.
Available for use with Onshape’s CAD-in-the-web-browser software, the familiar two-handed method of simultaneously pannning, zooming and rotating models while selecting with a traditional mouse will come as great relief to those that have honed the skills elsewhere.
For Onshape, the 3Dconnexion drivers will work on Windows systems and use Chrome or Firefox browsers.
