To support DEVELOP3D Live USA in Boston LinkedIn Learning has unlocked a whole bunch of its design and manufacturing courses until 9 October, making them free and available to everyone.
There’s a whole host of amazing content for every experience level, and pretty much every CAD software is available – from SolidWorks Mould Making to learning Siemens NX.
We’re hugely appreciative of LinkedIn for doing this, and should you be an aspiring tutorial host then get in touch with Brian Jepson and help spread design knowledge.
Below are some of our favourites:
Autodesk Inventor: Product Design Workflow by Jana Schmidt: Walk through a typical product design workflow in Inventor: sketching, modeling parts, building assemblies, and producing final drawings.
SOLIDWORKS: Mold Design by Tam Black: Learn how to design high-quality molds and casts—for one-off prototyping or mass-manufacture—in SOLIDWORKS.
Additive Manufacturing: Troubleshoot 3D Prints by Joan Horvath and Rich Cameron: Learn how to fix common 3D printing problems, such as prints that don’t stick to the bed, pimples and dimples, and geometry issues.
