WATCH // D3D LIVE 2017 – Tony Gray, Solidthinking – Where do your designs begin?

1383 0

This presentation will explore the history and theory of optimisation all the way back to its roots in biomimicry and Wolff’s Law from the 19th century that states that a bone in a healthy person or animal will adapt to the loads under which it is placed.

Giving real-world applications to build an understanding of how designers can use optimisation tools today to improve almost every structural part or product that they create, SolidThinking’s Tony Gray imparts some of his engineering intuition.
