Hardware reseller Multistation has announced it is to distribute Wematter SLS 3D printing solutions across its home market of France.
Wematter Gravity is an SLS 3D printing platform that has been designed for ease of use, combining its 3D printer with a water-jet cleaning cabinet and powder recycling system with the aim of brining additive manufacturing in-house.
Since its inception in 2014, Wematter has delivered 3D printers and 3D printed components to several car manufacturers, hospitals, and aerospace clients in its homeland of Sweden.
Most interesting is the company’s technology for ease of use in handling the necessary SLS powders, with its patented powder packaging, and 3D printers CE-marked for office use, hospital environment, lab or workshop.
Moreover, the used powder is recycled for new print jobs – saving money and having a better impact on the environment.
“We are pleased to now start a collaboration with Multistation as a partner in France. This is part of our international investment that is now being made and engages various retailers around the world,” said Wematter CEO Robert Kniola.
“Since more than 30 years, we are looking for the best disruptive companies. We have identified Wematter as a very innovative company not only for their technology but also for their business model. The goal is to make SLS 3D Printing accessible to as many people as possible,” said Multistation CEO Yannick Loisance.
