Children’s art is creative, playful and doesn’t give a damn. It’s a great reminder of how as adults – and specifically as designers burdened with precision, client voices and deadlines – we should be.

Starting with how Bobby Kennedy stuck pictures of his kids art work on his walls when he came into office, this brief video by Delphine Burrus explains how our love for the drawings of children has risen at this period in time due to our longing to eschew the pressures of adulthood.

Wonky lines, general discourse and a lack of detail are part and parcel of these drawings, although the way a child views something can also be an inspiration.
