Dell has announced the S718QL, a laser projector capable of throwing up a 100-inch Ultra HD 4k picture from a unit positioned only four inches away from a wall – transforming a blank office slab into a giant collaborative/presentation space.
Its high brightness technology is designed for the workplace – meaning it’s viewable even in daylight, while the traditionally flaky projector lamps have been replaced with low-maintenance laser tech for instant on-and-off experience with up to 10 years of life based on an 8 hour workday.
8.3M pixels of eye-popping colour should make it a great tool or collaborative working, with it able to connect using a wide variety of devices and formats – wirelessly from up to four different devices simultaneously, or run Microsoft Office and 4K multimedia files directly from a USB, while Bluetooth connectivity enables audio from Bluetooth-compatible sound systems, no wires necessary.
The Dell Advanced 4K Laser Projector will be available to purchase from July 24. Pricing available at launch.
