One of the leading lights in the point cloud handling software world has made a brave move to bring its products to a wider audience.
Geomagic has launched an OEM version of its Wrap product that hardware vendors can offer their customers out of the box.
The software delivers 3D polygonal models direct from 3D scan data and so far six scanner hardware manufacturers have already agreed to include Wrap OEM Edition with their 3D scanners, including Creaform, 3D3 Solutions, 3D Digital, Noomeo, Open Technologies and Vialux.
