Freedom of Creation bought by 3D Systems

We’d like to think of it as a payday for featuring in last month’s DEVELOP3D Product Design Gallery…
However it’s most likely down to the extremely innovative work of Freedom Of Creation (FOC) that they’ve been snapped up by rapid prototyping (RP) giant 3D Systems.
Having featured its RP’d iPhone cases, we’re big fans of the Amsterdam-based team’s collection of work, and will be watching with interest as it becomes part of the creepily-monikered “3D Systems family”.
